EPCI Project Update: Safety First in Senegal
As operations ramp up for the Dakar Marine Link joint venture between Enshore Subsea and Herbosch-Kiere the focus from the teams is firmly on safety.
In July the Senegal team launched its QHSE incentive programme to:
✅ Ensure a safer work environment by reducing the potential for incidents and accidents
✅ Encourage reporting and the addressing of any potential hazards
✅ Recognize and reward employees who demonstrate outstanding safety practices
When operating as a high-performing joint venture it’s important to foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration amongst employees, encouraging cross-functional collaboration to solve problems and achieve common goals and recognising teams that exemplify excellent cooperation and communication.
The QHSE incentive program aims to recognize behaviors and actions, as well as the best performances in health, safety, environment, and quality. Each week, the leadership team in Senegal have selected the two best observations, and each month they will choose the two best observations and recognize the three best performances. Additionally, on-the-spot awards are available in the incentive program and are given during site visits and management walkabouts.
Congratulations to the July winners:
