ENS1400 - Jet Sled

Purpose-built for nearshore operations, the ENS1400 is a towed Jet Sled that delivers efficient cable burial in beach landing, shore approach, and shallow water environments. It can achieve trench depths of up to 3m in soft cohesive and sandy seabed conditions.

ENS 1400 - Jet Sled

ENS1400 is a towed Jet Sled system, optimised for beach landing, shore approach and shallow water cable burial. The Jet Sled is capable of trenching products to a depth of 3m in soft cohesive and sandy soils.

ENS1400 water jetting supply is surface supplied, meaning that the water flow and pressure can be optimised to suit the soil conditions and burial depths with ease. The system has an umbilical to provide power and control to the vehicle and provide feedback from the survey sensors onboard.

Typical Operating Parameters

10 bar/2000m³/hr* (Jetting pressure and flow rate provided are a guideline. These may be modified throughout trenching as necessary.)

Anticipated Typical Tow Force

2-5Te (Tow force should be controlled to ensure forward movement of the sled as the jets fluidise the sea bed. Excessive tow force will result in poor trenching performance and potential damage to ENS1400.)
