A Major Milestone for the Senegal Power Compact Project
A great sight for the Dakar Marine Link team in Senegal, as the soak testing of both lines has now been successfully completed.
Those green lights mark a significant milestone for the Senegal Power Compact Transmission Project, bringing us very close to the finish line.
Delivered through Dakar Marine Link – the project delivery joint venture between Enshore Subsea and Herbosche-Kiere – the project encompasses the EPCI of two ~ 17.5km, 225 kV links connecting Bel Air in Dakar with Cap des Biches on behalf of MCA-Senegal II.
With the infrastructure now available for use, only minor punch-list activities remain as the team moves towards final project close-out.
A huge thank you to the Enshore Subsea and Herbosch-Kiere teams, and everyone involved, for the commitment, hard work, and perseverance that has brought the project to this point.
